Are you an assessment professional or an educator seeking to know more about the role of computers and the Internet?

Do you want to influence the way electronic assessment develops’  If you are, then the e-Assessment Association is for you.

It has long been recognised that high quality examinations are an essential part of any high quality educational system. How else can learners as well as teachers be assured that they have achieved what they set out to do?  With the growing worldwide use of e-Learning education itself is changing, many think in a revolutionary way, and it is therefore essential that assessment practices change and adapt.  There is a strong case to make that innovative e-Assessment will lead educational change.

The e-Assessment Association offers the benefits of a professional body such as a supportive community of practice, sources of expertise and opportunities to influence educational policy through public debate.  The e-Assessment Association's policies, practices and activities will be decided by the membership itself.  A working party has drafted a mission statement and a set of initial goals (see Aims and Objectives), but it will be up to the membership to debate and develop these.  The views of an Association reached through informed discussion amongst its members carry weight: why not join and have your say?

Members: If you have lost your membership details please email the membership secretary on members@e-assessment.com
